Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Drain soaked lentils and coarsely puree in a food processor. Do not puree too finely; there should still be chunks.
  2. Add chopped onion, ginger, garlic, coriander, cumin, optional chili powder, salt, and pepper to the lentil mixture and mix well.
  3. Form small patties or balls from the mixture.
  4. Heat rapeseed oil in a pan and fry the patties until golden brown (or bake in the oven at 180°C for about 20 minutes).
  5. Serve immediately with coriander chutney or a yogurt dip.
